israel's at it again

yet again
israel is building
another 100 settlements
in the west bank
illegal under international law
they're still oppressing the palestinians
under the thumb of apartheid
keeping them in camps
denying them water
access
medical care
work
freedom
hope
i've been to Auschwitz & Bergen-Belsen
horrible
utterly, unthinkably horrible
you'd think
anyone with that history
would know better
fight harder for peace
equality
humanity
decency
justice
you'd think
but hey
they're israel
they're special
they're the downtrodden
apparently
they can do
whatever the eff they want
& get away with murder
